Dr. Vishwa Adluri and Dr. Joydeep Bagchee

In this webinar, we will explore two upcoming graduate courses being offered in Fall Semster 2024. Dr. Vishwa Adluri will provide an overview of the course Mahabharata-II: Dicing and Exile. Dr. Joydeep Bagchee will introduce his course The Bhagavadgita and the West. 

These courses provide two complimentary views of classical Hindu texts. Dr. Vishwa Adluri will focus on how to read Maharishi Vyasa's Mahabharata from a traditional Hindu prospective. Dr. Joydeep Bagchee will survey how The Bhagavadgita has been read and received by the West. This webinar will offer participants a multifaceted exploration of Hindu philosophy, and its reception in the West.
