The Certificate Program in Sanskrit Proficiency (CPSP) offers a comprehensive 4-year journey into mastering Sanskrit for students aged 14 and above, focusing on reading, writing, speaking, and understanding the language. With 24 credits earned over 16 quarters, the program emphasizes proficiency in Devanāgarī script, grammar, and vocabulary, providing direct access to ancient Hindu texts. Complementing this, the Micro Certificate in Spoken Saṃskṛtam (MCSS) is a 6-quarter, 9-credit hour program designed to enhance conversational skills through everyday scenarios, real-life conversations, and engaging activities.
