Bhaja Govindam, is an important poetic work traditionally attributed to Sri Adi Sankara. It can serve both as an entry point into Vedanta as well as a reminder of the many teachings of the  Hindu texts and traditions. It is a distillation of the fundamental texts of Vedanta and, in particular, of the Bhagavad Gita. What are the themes that this text touches upon?

In this webinar, we will get an overview of Bhaja Govindam with its verses re-organized around some key topics. We will come to understand how the key ideas and concepts
of Sanatana Dharma are presented and made available in a simple, easy to consume format of a Sanskrit devotional poem. We will look at the place of Bhakti and Jnana, in  relation to the Saguna and Nirguna dimensions of Brahman.
