Ramayana - and the Journey towards excellence in managerial leadership
Friday, March 25th 2022,
6 PM PST / 8 PM CST / 9 PM EST
Srimad Ramayana narrates the timeless story of the archetypal battle between Dharma and Adharma, in which Dharma emerges victorious, but only after a great struggle. We live in a world that is increasingly volatile, uncertain, complex, and ambiguous (VUCA). There are many relevant and timely lessons in the seven books (or Kandas) of the Ramayana that we can learn about management and leadership.
In this webinar, we will look at the insights from the Ramayana on an inside-out ‘leader and leadership development’ perspective and contrast it with the outside-in ‘leadership development’ perspective emerging from contemporary research. We will also introduce the first of a two course sequence starting with "Ramayana for Excellence in Management and Leadership" in the upcoming Winter Quarter.
