The Ramcharitmanas also called as Tulsi Krit Ramayana of Goswami Tulsidas (c. 1532-1623) is a sixteenth century retelling of the Sanskrit epic, the Ramayana of Valmiki. The Ramcharitmanas is the sole guide for living for millions around the world who receive it as a Shastra. It has served as a survival text for the poor and oppressed during invasions and colonization and continues to inspire Hindu cultural and civilizational sustenance today.
