Dr. Aseem Shukla
Dr. Aseem R. Shukla, MD - University of South Florida, Tampa, FL, is the Endowed Chair and Director of Minimally Invasive Surgery at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, and Professor of Surgery (in Urology) at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Shukla served as Director of urology at University of Minnesota Amplatz Children’s Hospital and held associate professorships at the University of Minnesota in the past. Dr. Shukla is active in developing pediatric urology as a discipline globally, and routinely lectures and participates in surgical workshops and conferences. He also provides consultation and strategic input in developing opportunities for partnerships and collaborations that serve to increase access to pediatric healthcare services in South Asia and the Gulf Region. Dr. Aseem Shukla was a Co-founder of the Hindu American Foundation in 2003 and serves as a member of their National Leadership Council. He also serves as a member of the Board of Trustees of Hindu University of America and chairs the Board’s Strategic Affairs Committee.
