Dr. Vaishnavi Rao Nishankar and Dr. krishnamurthi ramasubramanian

Dr. Vaishnavi Rao Nishankar, holds a Ph. D in Dvaita Vedanta epistemology focusing on inferential cognition, from Rashtriya Sanskrit Vidyapeetham, Tirupati, from where She obtained a second Masters’ degree in Sanskrit Computational Linguistics. She has worked on the Rāmāyaṇa and its commentaries in Tirupati, and Sanskrit WordNet at CFILT, IIT Mumbai. She also has taught Sanskrit to undergraduate students for over 5 years. She has focused on value education and developing a learner-centric curriculum and learning resources. Now, Vaishnavi is the Associate director (academics) MIT IIKS. It is the Institute for Indic Knowledge Studies. She is also involved in translating and compiling work in subjects like traditional Indian philosophy, epistemology, and epics. She is a Visiting Faculty at Hindu University of America. Dr. krishnamurthi ramasubramanian, a world-class scholar of great repute, a historian of Indian Sciences in Mathematics and Astronomy, Sanskrit Scholar, Vedic Teacher, Indian Philosopher and a Guru to many. His immensely broad erudition, his insights and his popular teachings have been inspiring a new generation of thousands of students, other scholars and teachers to learn and undertake research on the riches of India’s scientific heritage and enabling its preservation. His creative and exciting teachings at IIT Bombay and his unique, unparalleled multi-disciplinary scholarship continues to make an impact with a powerful combination of Science, Sanskrit and Spirituality. His life’s mission has been to inspire society to undertake research and give India its rightful place in the world of history of science and ignite interest in Sanskrit as a language of science.
